1. Agreement
By downloading, accessing, or using Family Drive Alerts, you agree to these Terms of Use and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service. You must be legally able to enter into this agreement and authorized to connect each Tesla account and vehicle you enroll.
2. The service
Family Drive Alerts uses authorized Tesla vehicle data to provide departure, destination, arrival, charging, and related status alerts. It is an independent product and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Tesla, Inc.
Alerts and estimated arrival information are provided for convenience. They may be delayed, incomplete, or unavailable because of vehicle connectivity, Tesla systems, Apple services, internet service, device settings, or maintenance. Do not use the Service for emergencies, safety-critical decisions, or continuous tracking.
Family Drive Alerts does not unlock, start, steer, or otherwise control your car.
3. Accounts and Garages
A Garage owner manages the Tesla connection, enrolled vehicles, Places, family invitations, and shared subscription. Invited members receive access to that Garage. You are responsible for keeping your sign-in methods and devices secure and for promptly removing people who should no longer have access.
4. Subscriptions and trials
- Family Drive Alerts offers auto-renewing monthly and annual subscriptions based on the number of enrolled cars.
- A seven-day free trial may be offered when the Apple Account is eligible. Apple determines trial eligibility.
- Payment is charged to your Apple Account when you confirm the purchase.
- Your subscription renews automatically unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
- Apple charges renewal to your Apple Account within 24 hours before the current period ends.
- You can manage or cancel the subscription in Apple subscription settings. Deleting the app or a Family Drive Alerts account does not cancel an Apple subscription.
- Prices shown by Apple control and may vary by country, region, currency, and tax treatment.
One Garage subscription covers its invited family members, but only enrolled cars receive alerts and count toward the plan limit. Subscription access may pause when a payment expires, is refunded, is revoked, or no longer covers the enrolled-car count.
5. Your responsibilities
You agree to:
- provide accurate account information and use only accounts and vehicles you are authorized to access;
- follow Tesla, Apple, and applicable third-party terms;
- not misuse the Service to stalk, harass, surveil, or violate another person's rights;
- not interfere with the Service, attempt unauthorized access, or reverse engineer it except where applicable law expressly permits; and
- use alerts responsibly and obey all driving and device-use laws.
6. Availability and changes
We may maintain, improve, suspend, or discontinue features when reasonably necessary, including when Tesla or Apple changes an API or service. We may suspend access for security, fraud, legal, or material Terms violations. You may stop using the Service and request account deletion in the app at any time.
7. Apple terms
Your license to the iPhone app is also governed by Apple's Standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement. If these Terms conflict with Apple's required terms, Apple's required terms control to the extent of the conflict. Apple is not responsible for operating or supporting Family Drive Alerts.
